What happened to the good days of hip hop? The originality, soul, clever rhymes, and raw delivery. Remember how good it was to hear Public Enemy, Pharcyde, Dr. Dre (Chronic), RUN DMC, Gang Starr, WuTang, and don’t forget Black Moon come on the radio or blast through the speakers from a neighbors car? Now we have a bunch of unoriginal, wanna-be artists who sing about the same nonsense every time, have little to no talent and are basically producing bubble gum pop songs with catchy choruses about nothing. And the music videos these days, Ja Rule, Nelly, 50 Cent? Are you kidding me? Is this a stand up comedy show or hip hop? Rims, bikinis, wads of money, guns, and mansions…give me a break you knuckleheads. Here is the video of the week, entitled “Buck Em’ Down” by Black Moon.
