Dead Bodies Trumped by Gay Marriage Complaints

June 18, 2008

Over 60 people died today in one of the worst car bombings in Baghdad this year, but many people decided to spend time complaining about the “controversy” over gay marriage being made legal in California. People lost their mothers, fathers, children, and loved ones, and we spend our time whining over differences. Ridiculous and minute differences as we always have. It perhaps is time to focus more on the fire in the kitchen rather than the cracks in the basement.

I urge my brothers and sisters to start waking up and seeing what death, destruction, and real oppression is happening and has happened around this earth. Make some positive changes for once and stop whining about every lifestyle choice your neighbor makes. Agenda, agenda, agenda. We may be slowly losing our minds, but it’s never too late to change.

Airport Security Scores Again

June 16, 2008

I’m late to post about this story, but for those of you who have not heard, there was a 30 year old man named Brad Jayakody who was stopped in a London airport (by security) for wearing a shirt with a transformer on it that was holding a gun. He was told that he could not fly until he changed his shirt. WOW! Thank you homeland security. You guys are really focusing your time and resources on the real dangers in life. I feel much more comfortable knowing that on the front lines of the defense against air travel terrorism are these genius security teams protecting us from t-shirts.

As if it is not bad enough that we take so much crap from the only games in town when it comes to long distance travel (the airlines), now we can’t wear shirts with cartoons on them? What a joke. If this is not the twilight zone yet, it will be soon.

As you will see in this photo of the detained passenger, Brad Jayakody, this shirt was obviously an extreme security threat.

You’re Brave for Getting Married

June 14, 2008

There are many decisions in life that some consider brave, such as skydiving, rock climbing, or bungee jumping, but I personally believe that the bravest decision a human being can make in life is marriage. Here are some reasons why I respect any soul who jumps into the “I do” situation:

1. Divorce rates seem to be approaching the 50% mark these days, so you’re truly living on the edge with this gamble.

2. All of the people I’ve met in life (including friends and family) are divorced or were divorced at some point…OR come from a divorced family. Think about it.

3. I can barely take care of myself, so I can’t imagine taking care of someone else for the next few decades….. (Well at least I admit it)

4. People getting married realize that they will lose all sense of fashion or even get dressed by their spouse.

5. Getting married means you often start shopping at places you would not regularly be seen dead in and you say really stupid stuff like “oh, that’s our favorite restaurant”.

6. You now have to answer to someone else when you want to go anywhere or see your friends or do anything at all. WHAT IS THAT?

7. You have another routine on top of the normal routine that you have worked all your pointless life to master.

8. Forever is a long time. (Use your imagination on this one)

In Summary: Good luck. But seriously kids, as sarcastic as it comes across, I do wish you the best. You are the bravest person on the planet if you get married, so never forget that.

A Free Nation Satisfied with Two Choices

May 30, 2008

The United States of America: Independent, creative, innovative, original, “out of the box”, revolutionary, open to change, and most of all, free to decide. Well that is in most areas indeed, but I’m amazed at how we continue to take only two political parties as serious options when we claim to be the most free nation on the map.

But remember folks, there are no other options that can be taken seriously when it comes to politics. That would go against tradition.

Propaganda to Silence Gas Price Complaints

May 29, 2008

We received an email today with the same propaganda nonsense that we get about twice a year, which basically suggests that as Americans we should simply shut up about gas prices being so high since there are other countries paying higher prices. So apparently if there are any injustices or issues of extortion going on in our country, we should simply ignore those issues or compare them to other global problems before making a fuss at all. Yeah well, I for one am still not buying this garbage.

The subject of the email was: “Why Europe thinks we are crybabies”. I love the term “why Europe”, as if Europe is some group entity or a person who is judging “us” and should dictate what we view as a problem. Can you say “permission slip”? But I must admit, propaganda still works and we all eat it up one spoon full at a time.

11 Things I Can’t Believe Exist

May 17, 2008

1. Bolo Ties >>>What’s a bolo tie?

2. Comb Overs

3. Shopping Carts w/ Poles Attached (to deter people from stealing them)

4. Cowboy Boots (with spurs)

5. Animal Therapists (explain that profession to a starving child)

6. 10 Dollar Movie Admission (for a 2 hr formula Hollywood “film” that probably destroys a once original story or idea)

7. Spandex (on men or women)

8. The United Nations (you can toss Brad Pitt and Angelina in that one for free)

9. Kim Jong il

10. Fascism/Racism/Sexism/Xenophobia (ok that’s four)

11. Arrogant, spoiled brats who flaunt their beauty and cash but give nothing to society in return.

Because They Said So

April 29, 2008

We form many of our opinions, traditions, routines, and beliefs on the simple principle of “because they said so”. Think about it, when is the last time you researched facts on important issues for yourself? And I mean actual research that goes deeper than reading one random blog (like this garbage). And not just from listening to the banter coming from some Lego-haired and gaudy news anchor, or from your gossip lipped co-workers who can’t handle their own issues in life, but have the key to solving the entire worlds problems. It’s all a bunch of nonsense and I’m sick and tired of it. Sick and tired. Did you get that?

I’m sick of people always doing exactly what they are expected to do and without questioning anything. I mean, they question things, but still within their boundaries and guidelines. For example, instead of considering the candidates for Republican, Democratic, or even Independent parties, why aren’t we questioning whether or not ANY of these morons are qualified to run this country. Every thought of that? We simply accept what we think is popular, because “they” said it was. We’re going through the motions, supporting what is known, listening to what is popular, and what is broad casted in the mainstream. It must be somewhat accurate right…they said it in the media… well screw the media. It’s only there to fit someones interest and it revolves around hearsay and hype. Why stay in the same box and never attempt to learn about point of views that may not be convenient for us to listen to.

People are painfully predictable these days. If someone leans right in their opinions, they listen to everything fed from the right. If they lean left, they buy up all the propaganda from the left. If someone is undecided, they don’t listen to anything at all, but use their time to complain instead of forming a damn opinion and establishing a new choice for their society.

I say there is always a new choice, and it begins with common sense. Take every situation with a grain of salt and research it for yourself. Don’t just read one book on a subject, read several books. Don’t just meet one person from a different culture, meet several people. Don’t settle for one radio station with your favorite like minded ideas, listen to them all and you will hear that much of it has the same agenda.

The want you to believe that you need to stand in line and support the popular groups in life. That’s a bunch of bullsh**. You are the future and you can decide what happens every day. It’s never been about the majority, it has always been about the choices YOU make as an individual and the decisions everyone can control in their daily lives.
