We received an email today with the same propaganda nonsense that we get about twice a year, which basically suggests that as Americans we should simply shut up about gas prices being so high since there are other countries paying higher prices. So apparently if there are any injustices or issues of extortion going on in our country, we should simply ignore those issues or compare them to other global problems before making a fuss at all. Yeah well, I for one am still not buying this garbage.
The subject of the email was: “Why Europe thinks we are crybabies”. I love the term “why Europe”, as if Europe is some group entity or a person who is judging “us” and should dictate what we view as a problem. Can you say “permission slip”? But I must admit, propaganda still works and we all eat it up one spoon full at a time.

I got your attention didn’t I? Maybe it’s because you (as a human being) have some level of consciousness and probably hold a strong position on the issue of murder. Of course I’m not here to support the position that murder should be seen as a good thing, but I am here to remind you that everyone believes that murder is bad (if even when happening to them or their loved ones). The reason I remind you of this is that it often seems popular for people to take the position of accepting several crack pot ideas as valid “opinions” or as being significant to what “other people” believe. In most cases, this kind of nonsense sounds more like an excuse to appear open minded, cultured, and tolerant. I believe it is quite the opposite. But my real question to our society is this: Why is murder a bad thing? Can you explain it to a crowd of people who don’t believe in the same things you do? And what if someone from a different background or culture thinks it is acceptable to murder someone? Do they have the right to murder others simply because they think it is a good idea?
If you are someone who holds personal morals or standards in life, you probably understand why you believe what you do. But if you’re one of these people who claim to believe in nothing and whine about how meaningless existence is, then why care about murder? Why care about genocide, war, injustice, rape, oppression, or anything at all for that matter? Honestly, if we’re just a bunch of animals placed here by chance, why does anything matter at all? I know my examples are extreme, but we live in a world that has become very extreme in it’s thinking and this is getting more out of hand every day. I wonder why so many individuals who claim to be “open minded” don’t see that there are in actually rules in life. I personally don’t believe in brainwash, but I also don’t believe in this ridiculous “anything goes” mentality either. I call it common sense, but some may call it conviction, morals, or social standards.
We do in fact expect things of people on this earth, regardless of their religion, culture, or background. So what are your standards in life? How low are you willing to go to please someone? This may be of little consequence if it comes to minor issues, but when it comes to dealing with world philosophies and opinions, you must realize that people think differently and that thinking differently does not give anyone the right to justify those beliefs if they are…INSANE. Murder is obviously one of these insane philosophies, so my point is that for all you morons out there who love to say “it’s all relative” and “to each their own”, I say (f*** you), wake up and start taking an actual position for justice and good. Use logic and open your eyes…hopefully you will do the right thing.

You have enough. More than have enough. You don’t fool me with your complaints. You’re just an ungrateful, over-indulgent, egotistical, spoiled, golden spoon-fed brat who finds every reason to complain about why your life is so much harder than the next persons. You live over half your life trying to collect possessions so that you can impress people you claim to despise, and continue gathering more junk in order to keep your sanity within this shallow society. What are you doing? Where are you going? What are you thinking? You must have lost your mind. Has it occurred to you that you have more than enough. You have more than enough. You have too much stuff and deep down inside you know it. The question is why are you so adamant on obtaining more of these pointless possessions? What benefit or major cause are you fighting for by remaining a selfish egotistical prick. What world are you living in when you think you’re better than anyone else because of your possessions, houses, cars, salary, or social status. And what has brainwashed you into believing that your appearance and hairstyle means anything at all in the big scheme of life. Don’t you realize how small you are? If you die, it does not come with you, and yet another spoiled brat will just spring up in your place.
How many of these whining Americans actually travel into dangerous or third world countries wherein the majority of citizens are starving for food and plagued with disease, war, corruption, oppression, and injustice on a daily basis? Don’t these people deserve some hope or dignity? Do they not deserve some room for complaints? Are they not your human brothers? Do they not share the same blood and air and makeup as you do? Why don’t you care?
All you do care about is yourself, and until you break that curse, you will never realize the true meaning of life…… TO GIVE.

I’m sick of hearing commentary from television and radio personalities pronouncing: “Is the country ready for a black or female president?”. This tempts me to lose all faith in humanity. Just another tactic to push the general public into focusing more time on controversy and separation, and less time on truth or substance. But I’m often amazed that the very people asking these asinine, cliche, questions are considered “well educated” adults, and I question if they realize what is actually being said within this statement? Every time people say this, they are saying that mainstream America cares what uneducated racists, sexists, and fascists have to say about the topic (as if we don’t already know) . Is there truly a need to ask the opinion of fools, when you already know they will give a foolish answer? And notice that they always ask “Is America Ready” and never ask “Are You ready“. I guess they would rather ask people to speak for millions of others, instead of incriminating themselves as an ancient minded racist. I say that entertaining this question at any level is arrogant. As if anyone knows the minds and hearts of over 200 million Americans. Get real. Here is one way to put this into perspective, imagine that today you heard a news personality say, “are we ready for a black baseball player?”, you would probably be awestruck and hopefully disgusted. In my opinion, there should be an equally shocking reaction to the stupid question “are we ready for a minority or female president”.
And what is with this “ready for change” nonsense? When was the last time that all of America joined together and simultaneously agreed on a social change? Things often change without our permission, so it’s foolish to assume that we choose when to be “ready” for something new. We don’t make important decisions based on what foolish, disconnected, racist, fascists, or misogynistic groups think, so why make our voting decisions based on their input?
And furthermore, don’t forget the countless minority groups living in the United States right now that are not even discussed in this topic. In 10 years, for example, what if a Japanese, Mexican, or Chinese American citizen runs for presidential office. What about their rights and dignity? Will the media give us the same line of “Is the country ready for this?”. I’m confident that they will feed us this line for as long as we are willing to tolerate it.
I’m one to admit that there are several qualities to dislike about a person other than minute details such as skin tone and gender? Do you realize that most of the people you really dislike, are those closest to you! (bosses & in-laws) Not to say that racism and prejudice is not a huge issue in this country, but we only feed this monster when we entertain nonsensical questions like this and pass it off as intellectual conversation.
Wake up America, we’re not living in a time of segregated water fountains and seating arrangements. It may not have been a long time ago, but the majority of us know what is right, what is wrong, and we know that skin color and gender means absolutely NOTHING.
Regardless of people trying to focus on how racist everyone is, the truth is that we have come a long way, but the excuse of asking “Is the Country ready”, is simply a cop out. Think of new ways to stimulate our minds, we have enough problems…give us some solutions!
Propaganda 101.

Next time you find yourself too focused on yourself, it may help out to remember some of the issues going on in the world:
Oppression - The act of using power or privilege at at the expense of others to control, enslave, disempower, marginalize, silence, and subordinate.
Stay Aware: www.oppression.org
Genocide - The deliberate and systematic destruction of an ethnic, racial, religious or national group.
Stay Aware: www.aegistrust.org – Protection against genocide
Starvation – A severe reduction in vitamin, nutrient, and energy intake, and is the most extreme form of malnutrition. In humans, prolonged starvation (in excess of 1-2 months) causes permanent organ damage and, eventually, death. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, more than 25,000 people died of starvation every day in 2003, and as of 2001 to 2003, about 800 million people were chronically undernourished.

Xenophobia – A fear or contempt of that which is foreign or unknown, especially of strangers or foreign people.
Stereotype – A simplified and/or standardized conception or image with specific meaning, often held in common by one group of people about another group. A stereotype can be a conventional and oversimplified conception, opinion, or image, based on the assumption that there are attributes that members of the other group hold in common.
Fascism - An authoritarian political ideology (generally tied to a mass movement) that considers the individual subordinate to the interests of the state, party or society as a whole. Fascists seek to forge a type of national unity, usually based on (but not limited to) ethnic, cultural, racial, and/or religious attributes.
Corruption – An organized, interdependent system in which part of the system is either not performing duties it was originally intended to, or performing them in an improper way, to the detriment of the system’s original purpose.
