We received an email today with the same propaganda nonsense that we get about twice a year, which basically suggests that as Americans we should simply shut up about gas prices being so high since there are other countries paying higher prices. So apparently if there are any injustices or issues of extortion going on in our country, we should simply ignore those issues or compare them to other global problems before making a fuss at all. Yeah well, I for one am still not buying this garbage.
The subject of the email was: “Why Europe thinks we are crybabies”. I love the term “why Europe”, as if Europe is some group entity or a person who is judging “us” and should dictate what we view as a problem. Can you say “permission slip”? But I must admit, propaganda still works and we all eat it up one spoon full at a time.

Every day I realize how money owns me. 95% of the things I do are directly as a result of money. It makes me say or do things that I would not naturally say or do. It makes me want things that I honestly really do not care about. And it makes me value a future that I do not necessarily need or really desire in my heart. It makes me pursue careers or talents that I really don’t have any care for. Now the reality is that this is just life, but it is an interesting reality. All these years I thought that money was obtainable, but the truth is that we are obtainable for money, and we will say or do just about anything to please it.
I think it’s pretty funny that we actually believe our accomplishments and salaries actually mean anything. We are in fact pretty insignificant and forget that we can lose things in the blink of an eye. And without the concept of compassion and giving, we are truly NOTHING. If it were not for family, friends, loved ones, or even strangers around us who constantly give us something whether it be time, money, assistance, advice, etc… we would literally have and be nothing. Life is not all about talents, status, cash flow, fashion, or how well you can do things, but is more about how much we are willing to GIVE to others. Especially when are so blessed ourselves. Wake up.

My mentors always told me that society would eventually find a way to profit from a humans death, but I never believed it….until now.
Am I the only one who is noticing these ridiculous and imaginary costs that pop up all over the place and simply make no sense? Things we should simply NOT be paying for or simply paying less for. What the hell are we paying taxes for anyway? Where is this money going? Is it for the cops to work harder to give out speeding tickets, or catch j-walkers in the act, or keep us safe from kids who skateboard on sidewalks perhaps?
As a perfect example of a ridiculous and made up expense, I was reminded today that people actually have to pay for something called a “marriage license”. Are you f**king kidding me? A piece of paper from the government that says it is now acceptable to get married? This is ridiculous. Is this a free country or a shake down? It’s just an example of a made up expense and we have plenty of them. It is all nonsense that we conjure up out of thin air and charge people for, when in reality we cannot justify the ridiculous cost. We sit around with all of our possessions, which are not enough, and then imagine more ways to rip each other off for expenses that make no sense whatsoever.
I’m not just blaming “the powers that be”, I am blaming all of us. We are all becoming ignorant and selfish morons who are filled with greed. We would actually stop a funeral if the bill was not paid. This is not freedom, this is not justice, this is not life, this is not compassion. This is insanity.
People wake up. I don’t think we should not pay for anything, but I do think we have not lost our minds and can stop making up fake expenses that put hard working people in more of a jam than they already are.
Society won’t get anything from me but a middle finger. Do it yourself and stop listening to lies.

The majority of people with any common sense will tell you that you “can’t take money with you when you die”. But this statement is technically not true and we have noted the actual amounts that you are allowed to take with you once you depart from this life (shown below). Now you will need to convert these dollar amounts into your own countries currency, and it may not look like a lot, but it does prove that you CAN take money with you when you die.
Option 1 (if going to heaven): Upon death you can take $4.75 cents for the God bus to the gates.
Option 2 (if going to hell): Upon death you can take $3.50 cents for the fun bus to the pit of fire.
Option 3 (if being reincarnated): Upon death you can take as much as you need in order to buy your new entity/body some clothing/and or food.

I know, I know what you’re thinking, but I don’t need a lecture on the money situation in life as I realize that our existence will always depend on earning or exchanging goods and services in order to meet our needs. I get it! The very fact that I’m typing on my computer right now is only possible because I had to earn something to obtain it. But the more I live, the increasingly I’m amazed by how people so constantly praise the almighty dollar. I mean, it is to the point where the fascination with money is becoming innate and an almost cult like instinctive obsession. Regardless of what religion you are, when you think about everyday life, it’s clear that almost everything we do and say revolves around money. The basic act of getting up in the morning is often because we have to go to work and earn money that keeps a roof over our heads. Most of the conversations we have in life with strangers include an exchange of currency or a negotiation of how one party can get a portion of the others money. And when it’s time to eat or go shopping for groceries, we naturally look for the cheapest prices as we know that what we buy is dependent on how much we have in our wallets. From the first day of kindergarten, we were not only being trained and prepared to make money, but we were ourselves paying money to the school (probably too much money) Needless to say, from everything from the very structure of our houses to the car we drive, our default religion is money. It would seem like a distraction in most cases, but money is a social and psychological element in life that gives us a clear purpose each day and makes us feel reasonably comfortable about making efforts in life whatsoever.
This reward called money is the single most influential force that the world has ever seen. Imagine how many deaths daily are a result of the desire to obtain money. People are victimized each day because someone else believed in money over another individuals life. This philosophy of willing to kill or be killed (over money) is very frightening as it shows how out of touch we can get when it comes to money worship. Don’t get me wrong, I believe it’s a good thing to achieve goals and make profit from one’s work, but making money should give a person the opportunity to be thankful for that reward and encourage others to succeed. We so easily get locked into the mindset that money and possessions make us who we are. We even go as far as showing off new possessions we purchase and even boast of how much currency we have in the first place. We are selfish and self centered by nature, but money is so powerful that we’re willing to do things we don’t want to do and on occasion “bend the rules” if we must (AKA ripping each other off). And to add to this religion, we are willing to do this for as long as it takes. Forever even.
You often hear the term; “money doesn’t bring happiness”, but do you truly believe this, or do you think money does bring you joy? Ask yourself, has more money solved your problems in life? If you are a slave to money, perhaps you should try something new. Remember, cash and possessions can’t follow you to the grave, so maybe it’s time for us to find a new god.

I’m far from being wealthy and I don’t claim to be in poverty, but no matter which category we ultimately place each other into, we’ll always disagree on who is part of the ‘problem’. We pretend to understand the reality that several varying world views exist (billions of them), but it seems that we never take the time to appreciate the impact that this vast difference in human perception has. In short, there’s always going to be someone who is hurting more than you are, period.
For example, I consider myself an average person, with average possessions (probably too many), and an average income, but just ask some of my friends overseas what they think about me. If you ask them to take their current situations with housing, income, freedoms, or quality of life, and compare them to my own, there’s a good chance they would tell you that I’m a spoiled, privileged, and greedy individual who has too much time on his hands. Well, my reaction years ago might have been a very defensive one, especially since I spent all this time thinking I was so noble and focused on helping others, while pointing my finger at celebrities, mainstream media, and corrupt politicians as the ultimate evil. But the truth is that no matter how self-righteous or humble we take ourselves, we can all be viewed as misguided and spoiled souls.
When you look at your life from the eyes of someone who lives with a harder struggle than you, (often a struggle to survive), you can understand why they would see you as the problem. With that being said, if you’ve made a living out of justifying actions based on the fact that someone is worse than you, it’s probably not the healthiest attitude to own. And on the other hand, you can’t simply blame your struggles on people who are doing “better” than you, because they are not often the soul cause of your suffering in life.
No matter where you find yourself, try to think about life from a different point of view. This may give you the rare opportunity to be thankful for what you’ve got.
